Terms of Service

Last updated 25 August 2026

1. What oneblock is

oneblock sells advertising placement. You pay to put a listing on a public board, and the amount you pay determines where that listing ranks. It is not a competition, a lottery, or a game of chance, and nothing you pay is ever returned to you as winnings or otherwise.

Listings are paid placements. They are not reviews, endorsements, certifications, or any judgement by us about the thing being listed. We do not check that a listed product works, that its claims are true, or that its prices are real. What a listing proves is that someone paid to put it there.

What you may list, and how your link is handled, are set out in the Rules. The Rules form part of these terms; where the two conflict, these terms control.

2. The ranking rule

Listings are ordered by the total amount paid against them, highest first. Where two listings have the same total, the one created earlier ranks higher. That is the entire rule. There is no editorial judgement, no quality score and no hidden algorithm, and we do not accept payment to alter the ordering in any other way.

3. What you receive

When your payment is confirmed you immediately and permanently receive:

  • a listing on the public board showing your name, description and a clickable link;
  • a rank position determined by your total spend;
  • a public counter of outbound clicks delivered to your link.

Your listing does not expire and is not removed for non-payment. You may pay again at any time to increase your total and move up; further payments add to the existing total, and everything already purchased is retained.

4. Being outranked

Another customer paying more than you will rank above you. This changes your position only. It does not remove your listing, end any period, or forfeit anything you have paid for, and it does not entitle you to a refund.

Because payments accumulate and never expire, the amount needed to reach the top can only rise over time. Please decide what a placement is worth to you before you pay, rather than after.

5. Who may buy a placement

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract. If you are buying for a company you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and “you” in these terms means that company as well as you.

You may not use oneblock if you are barred from receiving the service under applicable law, including trade sanctions.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Polar, who act as Merchant of Record. Polar is the seller of record for your purchase, handles payment and any applicable VAT or sales tax, and will appear on your statement. We never receive or store your card details.

The minimum payment is €2. Amounts are whole euros. All payments are one-off: there is no subscription, no account balance, no stored value, and nothing that can be withdrawn or cashed out.

7. Right of withdrawal and immediate placement

Your listing is placed as soon as your payment confirms. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you would normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. By asking us to place your listing immediately, and confirming that you understand you lose that right once it is placed, you consent to immediate performance and waive the withdrawal right. We ask for that confirmation explicitly at the point of payment.

If you would rather not waive it, do not complete the purchase. Our Refund Policy sets out the cases where we refund regardless.

8. Disputes and chargebacks

If something is wrong with your purchase, contact us first. We answer within three working days, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about one. Our Refund Policy sets out what we refund.

Opening a chargeback or payment dispute without a legally valid basis, rather than contacting us, is a breach of these terms. We may remove the listing it relates to and decline to serve you again. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your right to dispute a payment you did not authorise.

9. What you may list

The Rules set out what the board accepts, and most of it is enforced at submission: query strings are stripped from every listing link, and link shorteners, chat and invite links, and adult platforms are rejected outright.

In addition, you may not submit a listing that:

  • is unlawful, or promotes unlawful goods, services or conduct;
  • is a scam, phishing page, malware, or deliberately misleading;
  • contains sexual content, or content harmful to minors;
  • harasses, defames or impersonates any person or organisation;
  • infringes anyone’s intellectual property;
  • offers goods or services requiring a licence you do not hold, including financial, medical, gambling and weapons-related offers;
  • sells counterfeit goods or unauthorised streams of someone else’s work;
  • you are not authorised to promote.

You may not manipulate the board: no automated bidding without our written permission, no inflating a listing’s click count, and no working around rate limits.

You are responsible for your listing and for everything at the URL you submit.

10. Your listing must identify its operator

You may only list a site you own or are authorised to represent, and that site must itself say who is legally responsible for it: a legal name, a working contact method, and any postal address, imprint, business-register or tax details the law that applies to it requires.

Operator details that are missing, false, incomplete, impersonating someone else, or that we cannot reasonably check are grounds for removal at any time, without refund. This is not bureaucracy for its own sake: an anonymous destination that has been paid to the top of a public board is exactly the shape of a scam, and we would rather not host one.

11. What you promise us

By submitting a listing and paying for it, you confirm that:

  • you have the right to list that destination and to send visitors to it;
  • the listing and the destination comply with the law that applies to them, including advertising, consumer, privacy and intellectual-property law;
  • you are not impersonating anyone, and not listing a competitor’s site without their authorisation;
  • the destination is not malware, phishing, or built to deceive the people who arrive at it;
  • what you submitted is accurate, and you will tell us if it stops being accurate.

12. Removal

We may refuse, hide, or permanently remove any listing that breaks sections 9 to 11, that we are legally required to remove, that a rights holder has complained about, or that we believe creates a legal, security or reputational risk — with or without notice. Removal for breach is not refunded. If we remove your listing for any other reason, we refund it in full.

13. Complaints and rights notices

If you believe a listing infringes your rights, impersonates you, or points somewhere unlawful, write to us with: your name and contact details; the listing on oneblock; the destination it points to; what is wrong with it; and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

We may restrict or remove the listing while we look at the notice, and we may pass the notice to the person who placed it. Repeated or abusive notices may be ignored.

14. Availability and results

We aim to keep the board online continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Brief outages and maintenance do not entitle you to a refund. We do not guarantee any particular number of visitors, clicks, or business results. The click counter reports what happened; it promises nothing.

15. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to oneblock is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes are not retroactive: a listing already paid for continues under the terms in force at the time of payment. Material changes will be noted here with a new date.
