Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 August 2026

This explains what oneblock collects when you look at the board, click a listing, or pay for a placement. It sits alongside the Terms.

1. Who is responsible

The controller for personal data processed here is Ahmet Can Doğan, Ahmediye Mah., namikpasa sokak No: 15 D: 1, 34000 Üsküdar, İstanbul, Türkiye.

Contact: support@oneblock.lol

2. What we collect

  • A wallet identifier. A random id in an HTTP-only cookie named oneblock_wallet, kept for up to a year. It ties a checkout to your browser and keeps the board usable. It is not your name and it is not used for advertising.
  • Listing data. The name, description, link and handle you submit, and the amount bid. All of it is public by design.
  • Payment confirmation. Polar sends us the order and checkout identifiers and the amount. Card details never reach us.
  • Clicks. When someone follows a listing link we increment a public counter on that listing. The number is aggregate; we do not build a profile from it.
  • Technical data. Ordinary request data — IP address, user agent, referrer — is processed by our host to serve and secure the site.
  • Messages. If you email us we keep the correspondence for as long as we need it to answer you and to hold a record.

3. Cookies

One cookie, the wallet identifier, and it is strictly necessary: without it checkout cannot be attached to your browser. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie and no third-party tracker on the board, which is why you are not being asked to consent to any.

4. Why we may use it

  • To perform our contract with you: taking payment, placing your listing, showing its rank.
  • Legitimate interests: keeping the board honest, preventing abuse, debugging outages, and defending legal claims. You can object to this — see section 8.
  • Legal obligation: tax, accounting, and complaint records.

5. Listings are public

Rank, total paid, name, description, link and click count are visible to everyone, including search engines. Do not list something you do not want shown. Removing a listing does not retract what was already public while it was up.

6. Who we share it with

  • Polar, our Merchant of Record, for checkout and payment confirmation. Their own privacy notice applies to the payment itself.
  • Our hosting and database provider, so the site can run.
  • Advisers, authorities, or a buyer of the service, where the law or a transfer of the project requires it.

We do not sell personal data. Where a provider sits outside the European Economic Area we rely on that provider’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

7. How long we keep it

  • The wallet cookie: up to a year, or until you clear it.
  • Listings and bids: for as long as the listing is on the board, and in backups for a limited period after removal.
  • Payment identifiers and amounts: as long as tax, accounting and dispute handling require.

8. Your rights

If the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, you may ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, export, restriction of processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to us using the address above. You may also complain to a supervisory authority in your country.

We may need enough detail to find your data. Note that content already published on your own site does not become private by being taken off the board.

9. Children

oneblock is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has used the service, tell us and we will delete what we can identify.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when the service or the law changes. The date at the top is the current version.
