Refund Policy

Last updated 24 August 2026

The short version

Payments are not refundable, because what you are buying is delivered in full the moment you pay. There are five specific exceptions below, and we honour them without argument.

1. Why placements are not refundable

Paying places your listing on the board immediately and permanently. The thing you bought has been delivered and cannot be un-delivered: it has been publicly displayed, indexed, and may already have sent you traffic. Before paying, you are asked to confirm that you want immediate placement and understand that you give up the 14-day withdrawal right described in section 6 of the Terms.

Being outranked later is not a fault in what you bought. Your listing stays exactly where you put it and keeps working; someone else simply paid more. Rank changing over time is the advertised behaviour of the product, not a defect in it.

2. When we do refund

We refund in full, on request or on our own initiative, if:

  • you were charged more than once for the same placement, or charged in error;
  • your payment succeeded but your listing was never placed because of a fault on our side;
  • we removed your listing for a reason other than a breach of our content rules;
  • the board is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours, pro-rated is not meaningful here, so we refund the most recent payment in full;
  • the payment was fraudulent — made without the cardholder’s authorisation.

Removal for breaking the content rules in section 7 of the Terms is not refunded. That is the one case where you can lose a placement and keep no money.

3. How to ask

Email support@oneblock.lol with the email address you paid from and the approximate date and amount. You do not need an order number, though it helps. We reply within 3 working days and, where a refund is due, issue it within 10 working days.

If a refund is issued, the corresponding amount is removed from your listing’s total and its rank drops accordingly. If that leaves the listing with nothing paid against it, the listing is removed.

4. Payments are handled by Polar

Polar is the Merchant of Record for every purchase. They appear on your statement, issue your receipt and VAT invoice, and process any refund we approve. You can also contact Polar directly about a charge. Where Polar’s own terms give you a stronger right than this policy does, their terms apply.

5. Before you dispute a charge

Please email us first. Chargebacks take weeks, and most of what people raise them for — a duplicate charge, a listing that did not appear — is something we will simply refund the same day. Contacting us does not affect your right to dispute the charge with your bank afterwards.

6. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement. If you are a consumer and believe you are entitled to a refund the law requires, tell us and we will honour it.
